Are We In A Recession???

Are we in a recession?  Technically no, but it doesn’t matter becasue 3/4 of Americans think we are.  We still have economic growth, just less.  This is normal in a typical business cycle.  What is not normal is the banks losing all the money from bad loans.  We have more forclosures than normal and home values are decreasing.  This means the safest investment is now a bad investment.  Overall, I believe will will begin to see negative growth in about three to six months, and we will have a 1-2 year recession.  Not great, not as bad as it could be.  However, It will take nearly a decade for America to fully recover.

Thought on the Dem Race

What do I think about the Dem Race?  Obama has it in the bag.  And I am glad.  I think he will be easier to beat than Clinton because he is too inexperienced.

What about that crazy pastor guy?  It has hurt him, and I’m glad,  I want the Dem nominee coming out of the nomination process as damaged goods.  I hope the Dems fight this out until their convention in Denver.

Hulu Launches

A really great site has just launched.  Hulu.com is a joint venture between NBC and FOX.  I haven’t gotten the chance to see much of it, but I did watch an episode of Arrested Development and Doogie Howser, M.D.  I can’t get enough of that Doogie!  You can’t help but love a show with a teenage doctor and a stereotypical Italian friend.

Hillary Clinton Wins Big (or does she?)

Hillary Clinton won the primaries in TX, OH, and RI.  Barack Obama won in Vermont (which is not a surprise.  Vermonters are fuzzy sweater-wearing, granola-eating anti-war liberals).  Barack Obama may still get more deligates out of TX though becasue of the way the Dems proportion the deligate distribution. Below are videos from Fox News.

80’s Music and Other Random Thoughts

For some reason, I really like 80’s music right now.

Did you ever wish you could go back in time to see the past.  Like a few decades before you were born?  I think that would be cool.

You know what else would be cool?  To be able to control people with Jedi Mind Tricks.  THAT would be awesome.

You know what would be even cooler?  If Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama would shut up with the stupid pandering.  They pander to the uneducated masses in Ohio by blaming NAFTA for everything and saying they will bring back manufacturing jobs.  Guess what.  Those jobs are never coming back you Ohioan Sheep.

Hispanic radio ads in Texas by Hillary annoy me as well.  If you don’t understand English, how can you make a good choice as a voter.  I am sorry if that offends you, but LEARN ENGLISH.  Once you learn, then you can vote.  All this pandering to Latinos annoys me.  Not because I am a racist or a bigot, which I am not, but because it is offensive to Latinos.  The Dems think they are stupid enough to fall for their tricks.

Miley the Next Brit-Brit?

Is Miley Ray Cryus the next Britney Spears?  According to this lady (pictured below), yes. For some reason, her picture was in two pieces.

Here is her article from msn

I think this lady is just jealous that she is no longer young and vibrant like Miley.

Kenya Wants Moo-Lah from Hillary

I am sure you’ve all seen the picture of Barack Obama in traditional Kenyan clothes.  Well, reportedly Kenya is outraged about this and wants Hillary to pay a fine…  In livestock.

 From foxnews.com:

Just when Hillary Clinton started swimming in campaign donations, she could be facing down a hefty fine. This time in the currency of cattle.

Reuters reports that Kenyan elders are considering imposing a fine — traditionally payable in goats, cattle or camels — on the New York senator over the photo that surfaced earlier this week showing rival Barack Obama in traditional robes during his 2006 visit to Kenya. The Web site Drudge Report posted the photo Monday and said it was provided by Clinton staffers.

Though Clinton denied she had anything to do with the photo’s circulation, the Reuters article said Wajir elders would file a complaint with the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi and pursue an investigation.

“We will go ahead with this case whether Sen. Clinton or Democratic Party leaders turn up or not,” Mohamed Ibrahim, a member of the clan that hosted Obama, told Reuters. “But this whole thing can be avoided if only an apology is made.”

Obama’s campaign accused the Clinton camp of fear-mongering when the photo surfaced. Though Obama is a Christian, he has tried to extinguish rumors, stirred by the photo, that he is Muslim.

The two candidates seemed to put the matter to rest at a debate Tuesday night, when Obama said he would take Clinton at her word that she had no involvement with circulating the Drudge photo.

Obama’s father was from Kenya.

Prince Harry Returns to Britain

 Prince Harry

After spending ten weeks in Afghanistan, Prince Harry (pictured above) has returned home to Britain.  His deployment was kept secret for his safety, as well as his comrads.  The media is Britain egreed to keep it a secret.  Around six weeks ago, an Australian magazine reported that the Prince was in Afghanistan, but no one paid attention until The Drudge Report reported so this past week.
