Sorry for Not Blogging

Hello.  Sorry for not blogging in a while.  I was away, and then I was just lazy.  Here is my take on the stuff that’s happening now.

Obama Oversees:  Publicity stunt.  He is acting like he is already the President.  Almost Arrogant.

Veepstakes:  McCain-Romney; Obama-Biden.   Why???  Because McCain needs a semi-youthful guy who is business oreinted, and Obama needs a semi-old guy who knows about foreign policy.  Romney would accept, but I don’t know about Biden.  As chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, he is very influencial and important to the Democratic party.

Estelle Getty:  She made The Golden Girls golden.

Anna Nicole “Heirloom”

WTF!  Read the article, and you will feel the same way:

From foxnews.com:

LAS VEGAS —  They’re not traditional family heirlooms, but Larry Birkhead’s is not a traditional family.

Anna Nicole Smith’s former boyfriend spent nearly $3,000 at a celebrity auction Saturday scooping up lingerie once worn in a Playboy shoot by the late playmate.

Birkhead said he is trying to make sure his 1-year-old daughter, Dannielynn, has something to remember her mother by.

"I have a lot of history I have to put together that she doesn’t really know about," Birkhead told The Associated Press. "Playboy was such a big part of Anna’s career."

Birkhead bought a pink bustier for $1,800 and a white negligee for $1,000 at the auction, run by Julien’s Auctions and held at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.

I think it would be best if the poor kid didn’t remember her mother.  Then again, she could just watch the Anna Nicole clown video.

Barbara Walter’s Book

By now, I am sure you have all heard about Barbara Walter’s book.  In it, she divulges a lot of information about an affair she had and the whole mess on The View.  I really don’t care, but either way, her book did well.  She was a trailblazer for women.  She paved the way for Katie Couric to anchor the CBS Evening News (and have crappy ratings).  Yes, women in the Journalism Business have come a long way.

Miss USA

Heather Mills was a judge on Miss USA.  AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!  I can’t stand that gold-digger.  She spends so much time in the USA because they HATE her in the U.K.

BTW, Joey Fatone was also a judge.   And worst of all, Donnie and Marie Osmond were hosting.  What is it with these two.  Marie sells dolls and goes on Dancing with the Stars to get a comeback, and Donnie works for the Insider and gets to host when Pat O’Brien goes into rehab.

Also, have you noticed that Marie is starting to look more and more like the dolls she sells.  Or is that just my eyes deceiving me?

Hulu Launches

A really great site has just launched.  Hulu.com is a joint venture between NBC and FOX.  I haven’t gotten the chance to see much of it, but I did watch an episode of Arrested Development and Doogie Howser, M.D.  I can’t get enough of that Doogie!  You can’t help but love a show with a teenage doctor and a stereotypical Italian friend.

Miley the Next Brit-Brit?

Is Miley Ray Cryus the next Britney Spears?  According to this lady (pictured below), yes. For some reason, her picture was in two pieces.

Here is her article from msn

I think this lady is just jealous that she is no longer young and vibrant like Miley.

Oscars

They sucked.  No one watched.  No one cares.  Did John Stewart do a good job hosting?  I have no idea, I didn’t watch and don’t care.

No one saw any of the nominated movies accept Juno.  Ok, maybe Michael Clayton.  I didn’t see any of the movies.

Things just aren’t the same as they used to be.  Nowadays, John Wayne would be considered a wacko.

Buckle Up!

Can you believe this?

From foxnews.com:

YONKERS, N.Y.  —  Billy Ray Cyrus says he and his daughter, the "Hannah Montana" actress Miley Cyrus, simply forgot to buckle up for one of their scenes in their new hit movie.

"We got caught up in the moment of filming, and we made a mistake and forgot to buckle our seat belts," the country music star said Wednesday on People magazine’s Web site. "Seat belt safety is extremely important."

Consumer Reports magazine had noticed that the Cyruses were not wearing seat belts as they rode in the back of a Range Rover during Disney’s "Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert."

Don Mays, the director of product safety at Consumers Union, which publishes Yonkers-based Consumer Reports, said Wednesday, "We applaud the Cyrus family for recognizing that wearing seat belts in rear seats is essential."

The magazine had noted that 65 percent of the 13-to-15-year-olds killed in auto accidents in 2006 were not wearing seat belts. Miley Cyrus is 15.

Telephone calls and e-mails to Disney and to several of Miley Cyrus’ representatives were not immediately returned Wednesday.

I think Consumer Reports should have other things to worry about.  I am TIRED of all this nit-picking crap about content in movies.  Smoking, drinking, seat belts!  Seriously, though, Consumer Reports should be more worried about the whore-ific makeup Miley wears!
